A greek polykatoikia (block of flats) has been transformed into a woman’s worship space. Melina Merkouri is presented as a symbol of dynamism and power that contrasts with the underlying male chauvinist mentality. Therefore, it is ambiguous if the word ‘woman’, on a sign above the buildings, rises or falls.
