During the fall 2016, while teaching in st Louis, I was mailing 2-3 weekly postcards to my family with various haphazard watercolor sketches. On the back of every postcard, in the body of the text, I made sure to include a number, (such as the weather temperature, the number of weeks I was away, a measurement, something odd or irrelevant). After 4 months, the last card revealed a diagram explaining that all postcards combined made up a larger image, like a puzzle.
